Welcome to Point Loma CARES, a newly established non-profit organization dedicated to the safety, well-being, and vibrant future of the Point Loma & Peninsula community. As a 501(c)(4) entity, our mission is rooted in advocating for the safety of our children and maintaining the integrity of our neighborhood. Our current campaign, Protect Point Loma, is focused on opposing the proposed H Barracks homeless facility plan—a project that poses significant safety risks and concerns for our community, especially our children, schools, parks, and local attractions. Recognizing the urgency and importance of this fight, we are actively fundraising to support our legal initiatives aimed at halting this unsafe plan.
